    A Lantern Walks Among Us

    I am so glad that The Flash seems to be picking up fans as this great series continues. What cost this issue the fifth star is that I'm ready for the plot to move on a bit. To some extent, it does here, as there's a big moment for Captain Boomerang, as well as an interesting twist for Barry. Personally, five issues seems a bit long to have these Renegades from the future wreaking havoc in the city. I'm also a little confused as to how the Mirror Master fits into all of this. Even with Geoff Johns handling the writing end of things, it's still an ambitious story to tell and I wonder if it wouldn't be a little neater if it involved fewer Flash villains. Oh well, I trust the creative team behind this great book, and look forward to another awesome issue.

      How Appropriate, a 5/5 For Issue #5 0

      The Good: The crazy action out the wazoo was epic and awesome. And it also wasn't just the kind of static 'everyone's-shooting-lasers action you tend to get when a lot of things are happening at once, Manapul manages to make every action panel unique and dynamic. Captain Boomerang's crazy White Lantern vision gives us an iota more info than when we saw it in Brightest Day, and his reaction to it as downright perfect and completely in character. Trying not to spoil too much but there's this aweso...
