Rogues United (Almost)
Finally Manapul is doing art aswell again. Not that I don't like Marcus To's art it's just not the same. This overall has been a really good series and I am happy as after I heard Johns wasn't doing it in the New 52 I wasn't sure as he did a great job prior, but in some respects Manapul has by far surpassed him.
This issue starts with Golden Glider breaking Captain Cold and Heatwave out of a van transporting them to prison. Whilst getting out the falling vehicle Weather Wizard saves Heatwave but not Captain Cold who is in turn saved by Pied Piper who is capturing the rogues. Flash meanwhile Darwin Elias why he has changed the public's views on him. Whilst at a press conference Glider kills Elias leaving Flash to take the blame. Flash realising he can't both stop Elias from dying and goes after the rogues so he stays with him. Weather Wizard is almost demolished by a train but Mirror Master saves him. As they all are about to go through the portal Mirror Master opened it is frozen up and the rest of the rogues realize that Captain Cold isn't dead.
Final verdict. This is a great issue and one if not the best in the series so far, I am really looking forward to next weeks Annual. We finally see all the rogues in one issue and they have all in the series been revamped and given a bit more class and respect. I would highly recommend this series and issue and if Manapul is staying on pencils aswell even more so.
