I love the Doctor Who show. I thought it would suck at first but I love the story-telling even though I find the Daleks a bit cheezy.

lol yeah, back then the tv show was black and white :D

it's only recently been remastered into color, but you can still get the original series on DVD in Black and White for the purists who don't like the color remastering.

It'd be tough for me to say who I think the best one was.

William Harnell was the classic Doc. I'll admit I've only seen a couple ep's with him but have read most of the books.

Patrick Troughton seemed a little abrassive for me. A little too...off. Didn't like when he kept playing the recorder.

Jon Pertwee just bothered me. Not sure if it was him or the low budget they had that made them exile him to Earth.

Tom Baker was...Tom Baker. Always the fan-fav. Best? Not sure.

I liked Peter Davidson. I think 'cause that's when I was really getting into him. His was the first regeneration I saw before the channel I watched it on went back and re-aired the earlier episodes.

Colin Baker just always seemed like a jerk.

Sylvester McCoy...I don't think I got to see all of his episodes. From what I recall, he seemed kinda weak.

Paul McGann, I wish this was written out of existence with everything in the Time War. The Doctor part human or whatever crap they tried saying. It was a decent tv movie. Waste of one of the Doctor's lives. I would've liked to see how and when he regenerated into...

Chris Eccleston. This was finally a bad @$$ Doctor. He didn't take crap from anyone. I would've liked to see more adventures with him.

David Tennant is good. Sometimes a little light on his toes. Sometimes just a little too zany with his sudden yelling outbursts. But still good.

That guide was interesting. Didn't know he was half human. Weird. Now The Doctor and House, that would be fun. Make that happen. And while you're at it get The Doctor into the H2G2 universe. I want to see that. And don't act like you can't do it Methos.

yeah... the 8th Doctor's regeneration was interrupted by doctors (human medical) so he became half human...
