Namor hosts a celebration in his underwater palace, but the good times soon sour into a diplomatic incident with Wakanda!
Dr. Strange, Namor, and Hulk are back on Earth after their time in Tunnelworld, celebrating their victory in Atlantis.
The Hulk is unconscious after his ordeal, in which Strange surgically altered his brain to trap the Unnameable inside, and eventually turns back to Banner.
Strange leaves, and Namor gets wind from his advisors that problems have arisen in his absence.
Some Atlantean generals make a deal with some Wakandan rebels to get advanced Wakandan technology. The Black Panther interrupts, and chases after the Atlanteans. They lead him to Namor's ship.
Banner wakes up, but starts to freak out at the situation, and the atlantean doctors put him back to sleep so he doesn't turn into the Hulk.
Black Panther confronts Namor about the weapons deal. Namor knew nothing about it, but is angry that Black Panther is trespassing on Atlantean property, and making demands.
They briefly battle, with T'Challa using some of the stolen technology.
Dr. Strange reunites with Clea, Valkyrie, and Hellcat, and Hellcat asks him if he will join a new iteration of the Defenders.
Black Panther escapes after Namor floods the dock, and comes upon Banner's sleeping body. He wakes him, and Banner turns into the Hulk. He smashes his way outside, but almost drowns, so Namor brings him back in.
Meanwhile, back in Wakanda, the Panther's officials go off-plan just as Namor's had done: hearing of the danger that he is in, they consider launching a nuclear missile. The rest of the world watches in concern.
The Hulk wakes up again, and jumps out of the ship, all the way into the air, launching himself back toward land. The Wakandans, believing he is a missile, launch their own at the Atlantean ship.
T'Challa is enraged at his generals, and gives Namor the missile's coordinates. Namor intercepts it and sends it to blow up on an abandoned island. The immediate crisis has been averted, but Namor and T'Challa have been started on the beginning of a long trail of mutual suspicion and rivalry as monarchs.
