Are there seriously people doubting this movie?
Oh, internet...
Movie » The Dark Knight Rises released on July 20, 2012.
looks like cat womans ears are also her goggles that pivot from top of her head to her face. Ugh I am really nervous I love DC so much more then Marvel but its seems like Avengers have set a bar so high that these movies who were produced at the same time didn't expect. Imma try to forget the avengers as i go see dkr but honestly I'm extremely doubtful
The Catwoman picture there is very GIGGITY But...enough with the poster campaign I say. I don't even remember TDK having this much of a visual campaign 4 years ago.
I really want this to be good. I'm not sure if it will be, but i want it to be. I loved the Avengers, but i don't want it's style to be the only option for superhero films, and if this does poorly i fear we'll be getting a lot of superhero films heavy on spectacle but low on the human element (even though part of why the Avengers worked was the human element, i doubt studios will see that). We need the darkness and intimacy this film might have.
Ok So I don't mind Hathaway as Catwoman, and i think she may even do a great Job. One question, Gimmicky or not. She's not Catwoman without the Whip, and Claws. Without either hes Woman-In-Catsuit, with a gun...practicle; I'm not even pissed about the gun, it wouldnt be a bad Idea that she has one around just in case, but no whip??????
@fables87: I have to totally agree w/u on that, buddy, being skeptical; I mean how can u have an amazing Batman design for the last 2 movies, and yet have such a low-budget looking Catsuit (not to mention Anne Hathaway wasn't my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice as Catwoman... but i digress)? I wanna see where the money is going, cause it's clearly not going towards that 1/2ass catsuit. The movie better be amazing, 'cause that suit is terrible.

why do i get the feeling they're trying to sell us this movie a little too hard?
You didn't get that feeling with Avengers?
To answer for myself, no. But for DKR that is without a doubt to be a case. Maybe for some of the more passionate Nolan fans that isn't the case, but I didn't feel the same at all for the Dark Knight.

Discussions of how this movie might bomb aren't at all remotely exclusive to the web.
Wow... nerds do well. Why all the hate on a performance you haven't even seen yet? I think Hathaway looks like the best Catwoman we've seen yet. It's a nice blend of the classic Julie Newmar style with Nolan's darker vision. No, she's not the latex suit wearing Catwoman with giant googles in the current comic book, but that's okay. Neither is Nolan's Batman, Joker, Alfred, etc, all that tied to where the comics currently are. If you want a Burton-esque Pfeiffer Catwoman- just watch Batman Returns again. I love that movie, but I like Nolan's unique take as well. I think Hathaway looks great. She's beautiful and is one of the more talented actresses our there, (at least IMO)- I can't wait to see what she does with Catwoman. If she stinks worse than Halle Berry (is that possible?) then so be it, but I'm not going spew nerd-rage on a movie I haven't even seen yet.
The youtube links to the spots ARE labeled correctly. Spot 3 just took forever to get posted. That threw everyone off.
