    Near the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate, the parents of a young boy named Jiro are murdered. Jiro is accused of the murder and flees north to Ezo where he's trained as a ninja. Soon he sets out to unravel the mystery behind his parents deaths.

Jiro knows that the secret behind these murders, and his past lies in the legendary Dagger of Kamui, a weapon left to him by his father.
