Vince Faraday is a cop falsely accused of terrible crimes. Thought dead during his escape from the law, Faraday joins up with a bizarre troupe of circus bank robbers. Wanted by the law and with his beloved family in danger, Faraday takes the identity of "The Cape" and fights crime.

Origin

Carter Covington was an adventurer searching for the Hand of God with his friend Hans Fraser. When Hans touched the hand he died, and his body was possessed by the White Hand. Carter was killed by the White Hand.
 
The spirits of a lost tribe craving vengeance granted Carter the power of the shadows. Thus the Cape was born. 
 

TV series

The cape 
In real life, a cop Vince faraday was framed in a convicted crime he did not commit, while he was left for dead but being rescued by the ringmaster who controls the circus, the ringmaster trained Vince as a superhero and became his son's favorite superhero out of his comic book. Sometime now, Vince is fighting for his life to clear his name, and be reunited with his family.
