Dr Robert Dickering was saved by The Devil during the American Civil War on the 25th April 1864, in Cleveland County. To this day his mission is to track down evil men & kill those who will never repent.
The original Inferno was a criminal circus flame-breather who switches sides to aid Steel Sterling in the fight for justice. Later versions of the character had transformed him into a cyborg with flame throwing powers. In his last appearance, he returned to his original image.
John Raymond was born rich and spoiled. But when his inaction caused his brother's death, he became a man his father would be proud of, seeking to redeem himself as the high tech Hero known as The Web.
