Made me feel like it was 1980 again!

I couldn't put this first story arc down last night!  I liked the way that the characters didn't seem overdone, with the exception of Supergirl's apparent crush on GL... that seemed a bit too blown out of proportion to me.  The GL/Batman dynamic was good -- for once they weren't fighting each other or anything, just had a good, professional working team dynamic.
The best part for me was the end (this issue), where Batman takes on the Legion, and you can't figure out why (and apparently neither can the Legion, even with Brainiac 5's intelligence)...  you find out as they find out.  I like the nod to the Batman TV series with the siamese Human knot that he used to subdue Triplicate Girl with, but in the end I felt like they all got hooked by the bad guy a little too easily.
And, it all seemed a little too convenient that a SECOND shot from the super weapon would make everything alright again... how do they know?

I remember Brave and Bold from the early days when Batman teamed up with the Legion to fight Universo.  It was one of my favorite Legion stories for some reason.  This one didn't quite top it, but it brought back a lot of the same feelings.  Thanks, DC!
