Spin-off, six-issue miniseries of The Boys universe. Collected as Volume Five of the series in The Boys: Herogasm.

Garth Ennis really goes over the top with this six-issue limited spin-off of his hit series The Boys. At first glance, it dangerously treads the line of pornography. Yet reading the first two issues further reveals several layers and sub-texts: it is not just a raunchy satire of the comics crossover and the comics industry's obssession with it; it also holds a mirror to us comic book readers for drooling and getting off on such events with masturbatory delight. The stylized, cartoonish art by McCrea and Burns is never more apt here, to distance the viewer and at the same time to piledrive the idea how utterly freaky the sex would be if superheroes ever have the chance to go at it. Yet it is never just about the sex alone. If you can get the pun on the name Isla McFarlane, then you can see how much of a metaphor Herogasm is for comics of today. Even for a Garth Ennis work, graphic and sexually explicit language and content. For mature readers only... What I've written above I guess would hold true for the first four--or even five issues. I really thought this series would end with a bang, but instead, it's more of a bluster. Is this still part of Ennis' joke, I wonder...
