Veronica Lodge is a main character in the Archie Comics where she is the love interest of Archie but desired by his rival, Reggie.
Betty is Archie's love interest along with Veronica. She is Veronica's best friend. She is kind, helpful, caring and selfless.
Archie Andrews is an only child, who resides in the town of Riverdale where he attends Riverdale High. He has two girlfriends, Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge who both compete for his attention.
Jughead is the best friend of Archie Andrews. He is best known for his insightful yet cynical wit, his unmatched appetite, and his masterful cunning at accomplishing his goals with minimal effort (often called "laziness" by other characters). Equally well known but less understood are the signature beanie and cocky half-lidded squint that have remained with him since his creation as a character over half a century ago.

Lead singer and titular character of the all-girl rock band Josie and the Pussycats.

In the original comic books, Sabrina comes from a long line of powerful witches; in the later live-action TV series, Sabrina Spellman is half-mortal. Though many people assume the character is inspired by the series Bewitched, she actually pre-dates the series by two years.
Hubert Smithers (or just Smithers) is the Lodge Family's loyal butler.
The father of Archie Andrews.
Salem is Sabrina's pet in the Archie Comics universe. In the original comic books, Salem is an ordinary orange-furred cat who happens to have magical powers. In the live-action TV series, Salem is a warlock who was turned into a talking black cat for 100 years by the Witch's Council as punishment for trying to take over the world, with his status as pet part of his punishment. Modern comic reprints often re-color Salem from orange to black.
Arguably the sexiest character in the Archie Comics universe, red-haired Cheryl Blossom seems to trump both Betty and Veronica whenever male attention is involved.
Reggie Mantle is a character in the Archie universe. He has appeared in nearly all of the Archie comics, and has a major role in many stories. He first appeared in 1942. Reggie's real name is Reginald Mantle III. However, he prefers "Reggie", or just simply "Reg".

Little Jinx is an Archie Comics character introduced in 1947. She was a mischievous little girl who had various misadventures with her father and various friends. Her stories mostly served as back-up features to other characters but she was given her own title twice. The first lasted from 1956 to 1957, the second from 1971 to 1973. Since the 1980s there have been often reprints of her stories but little to no new material about her.

Humorous teenage girl from Archie comics
Although often mistaken as an Archie Andrews clone, Wilbur Wilkin debuted in "Zip Comics" #18 in September, 1941, actually predating Archie by three months, and is considered Archie Comics' first successful teen character. Though not as well known as Archie is today, Wilbur had his own series that ran for 15 years. In the late 60's Archie Comics' reused Wilbur's last name, Wilkin for the character, Bingo Wilkin, in "That Wilkin Boy". Other than sharing last names, they bear no likeness to one another.
Fauntleroy is the sidekick/ward of Super Duck
