DC makes a goal with this movie
The Movie starts off with The Joker (Voiced by Mark Hamill) and Harley Quinn (Voiced by Arleen Sorkin) breaking into an antique store. They steal a Jade Dragon, but The Joker knows it’s really kryptonite. He steals it so he can make a deal with Lex Luthor (Voiced by Clancy Brown) to kill Superman for one billion dollars. Also in this movie Batman (Voiced by Kevin Conroy) meets Superman (Voiced by Tim Daly) for the first time and of course Superman uses his X-ray vision to find out Batman is really Bruce Wayne; but Batman strikes back by putting a tracking device on his cape, which leads Batman straight to Superman/Clark Kent’s house. Throughout the movie Batman is saving Superman’s life and vice versa. In the end like every other superhero story justice prevails or in this case Superman and Batman defeat Lex Luthor and The Joker.
The good:
- Every one that voiced the characters did a simply amazing job.
- The animation was well done.
- The moods of all the characters were very well done.
- The movie got to the point pretty fast and did not draw things out just to add more movie length.
- The length of the movie was well timed; (64 minutes) it felt everything was nicely summed up.
- There was very little to dislike about that movie if you’re a Batman or Superman fan.
- Lastly the movie will always be treasured childhood favorite.
The Bad:
- Sometimes the expressions and body language of the characters felt off.
- Batman lost his identity to a robot, and later on he took out two of them in five seconds.
Conclusion:
This movie without a doubt is worth the watch as long as you’re a Batman and Superman fan.
Even if you have seen it before and haven’t seen it in awhile you may want to consider watching it again.
