Volume Description
The Avengers (volume 1)
The first volume of the Avengers, which lasted from 1963 right up until 1996 and ran for 402 issues. It ended during the Onslaught storyline and continued in Volume 2.
In 2004, the Avengers series returned to it's original numbering with issue 500 and up, but was revamped as the New Avengers after issue 503.
