Another Lackluster Mid-60s Issue of Avengers

The Enchantress and The Executioner, exiled from Asgard, join forces with Zemo to take on The Avengers in The Avengers #7. While it contains less plot conveniences than the previous issue, it still has a couple, including Iron Man's pitifully easy 'trick' to break The Enchantress' spell over Thor, and Thor's power-of-the-day to effortlessly dispatch the villainous threesome.

This really doesn't feel like The Avengers' 'Darkest Hour', as promised by the cover. Part of the unnecessary issue 5-8 run of the mid-1960s, it is by no means essential reading.
