Rings of Destruction
It´s been a while since the last time I´ve seen such a tuned team of Avengers like the one displayed in this issue: what a magnificent team work!! The team reeks of Captain America - even in his absence (I know it´s weird an Avengers team without Cap, but they are handling it quite well) - and it´s the team efforts of Vision, Crystal, Sersi, Black Knight, Hercules and Arkon that allowed the salvation of Polemachus. The plan set in motion by Dane Whitman is precise and thanks to Vision fearless actions in gathering data, Crystal for pushing harder on her powers and Sersi´s will the Avengers saves the day. This issue was better than the last, specially in the dialogues department, where Harras made a deep and sharp conversation with Hercules about Crystal´s feelings towards Dane, and allowed a development in the characters´personas, like showing that the Vision isn´t completely void of feelings and that Sersi could be a reliable member in the team, if not for her temper. This issue showed an improvement in the dialogues as well in the character´s characteristics, making me feel very happy about reading the book, because of the adventure and action, because of the great dialogues and the fantastic art of Steve Epting (no one does a space scene as good as him). The art is very good too, the only problem is some expressions and faces that Epting can´t handle very well - some times you can´t tell apart who´s Hercules and who´s Dane, of course, only looking at their faces, but it´s amazing art, with solid colors (for the time). Recommended for every Avengers fan!
