    When Superheroes Hit Rock Bottom They Fight The Ringmaster

    The Avengers, down on their luck try to take ‘normal’ jobs. This leads them to run afoul of Marvel’s perennial punching bags, the Circus of Crime.

    Really, there’s not much to say here. It’s a pretty standard issue of the Avengers, but the writing is still pretty sloppy. Stan Lee relies on a few too many extraordinary coincidences to save the day. He also seems to have forgotten that Power Man used to be a Nazi – the guy talks with more American colloquialisms than any villain the Avengers have faced off against in recent memory.

    [EDIT: I stand corrected. He worked for the Nazis, but was in fact a mercenary]
