    The New Avengers Lineup

    This issue introduces a new Avengers line up. With Captain America off in South America, and Thor disappearing mid issue (for the Trial of the Gods), the remaining Avengers decide it’s time for a break – Tony Stark is concerned for his heath, and Giant Man and Wasp just want a vacation.

    Most of the issue is devoted to interviews and pleasantries with perspective members, which is a nice change of pace. Interestingly, all three of the new team selections are former villains: Hawkeye, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

    Hopefully this team shakeup, combined with a changing roster of the books creative team, will bring a sorely needed breath of fresh air to this comic.

      this comic details a classic avengers story. this issued the first of hundreds of line-up changes that would follow this issue for years to come. after returning from a battle with the original master of evil captain america finds the original members of the avengers want a vacation from all  the super stuff. this meant that cap was going to have to find some new avengers ,so through various means and twists of fate cap assembles a team consisting of himself scarlet witch, quicksilver, and hawke...
