Few names in the art world invoke passion like that of Joseph Michael Linsner. A maverick phenomenon, Linsner has been painting visions of Heavenly women and Hellish demons since he introduced his personal tribute to the Goddess, Dawn, in 1989. This much-anticipated volume collects 176 pages of Linsner's very best work, with over a dozen previously unpublished paintings. Also featured is a special "how-to" section, in which Linsner details the creation of a Dawn painting from start to finish. More than simply pin-up art, Linsner's work illuminates a complex personal mythology, rife with its own language of symbols.

Ever wanted to go to Heaven, Hell, and beyond? Linsner's art will take you there.
