Do you think this movie will contain her death? It looks like its going to be a good movie. I am really interested to see how they handle that since most of the comics fans will be expecting that. Also, do you think they will kill Ben again? I am saying yes to Gwen and no to Uncle Ben.

No. But Uncle Ben's already going to be dead IIRC. Or going to die.

@ReVamp: I think they're showing Ben's death again. There's a scene of him talking to Peter in one of the trailers.

Uncle Ben, just like the Waynes and the El's, has to die for Peter to truly be Spider-Man.

Yeah man, it not like that would ever happen in the movies, I mean -- it hasn't even happened in comics!

Gwen won't die. I have a feeling she'll live through a few of these flicks. I feel like Spiderman done right could should be like the Harry Potter flicks. You have an actor young enough to go through enough films (5 to 7) showcasing this character from high school all the way up to where he's actually Spider-MAN. I thought character development was something the Raimi movies serious lacked. The characters were all cardboard. GG, if they do this right, IMO, won't really show up till part 3.

Plus, Emma Stone is WAYY too hot to just put in one movie. If Dunst got 3 then Stone should get like...9?

@Onemoreposter: Do you think they are going to run a new series of these films and this just isn't a one shot? I would like to see her for a few more films. I think she is a good actress.

@Cap10nate: Absolutely. I think if this first movie does well, this series of Spider films is going to be several films longer than Rami's.

No, I don't think she'll die in this one. They have to wait for Green Goblin.

...I swear, if it's not Green Goblin that kills her, I'm going to be upset. It's the defining moment that establishes that Spidey and Norman are archenemies (a fact that's supposedly forgotten in the comics).
