    Review: Amazing Spider-Man Annual #38 4

Spider-Man, Deadpool, and Hulk end up in another dimension. The Good First, I'm a big John Layman fan, and I love Chew, and his humorous dialogue style continues over into this book, minus all the cussing and cannibalism. I had big doubts about this book because I'm always leery about annual issues, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that this annual was a lot of fun and involved one of my favorite elements of science fiction, parallel dimensional travel. This is a bit of a "what if" issue as...

    It's Spider-Man, But With A Cape And Stuff 0

THE BASICSSpider-Man, The Hulk and Deadpool all take a road trip to a parallel dimension where, for Spidey at least, things are a bit too good to be true.MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEFI really wasn't expecting this to be nearly as good as it was. From the synopsis, I figured this would be a silly story that I'd get a few laughs from and then forget about, but Layman proves my assumption to be very wrong here. The story here is surprisingly, and effectively, dark and thought provoking. It gives us a ...

In a perfect world, with the perfect life and also the perfect powers, how can anything go wrong? With this exciting three part story line Spider-Man, Hulk, and Deadpool will be encountering their counterparts on a parallel Earth! However, their counterparts might not be all black-and-white as they might've thought. Spider-Man is first up in the story line and meets his doppelganger the Amazing Spider! Written by John Layman with Pencils by Lee Garbett, The Identity Wars has begun. The Good Spi...

ASM Annual #38 Review by The Amazing Condraic 0

The Story     Peter is working a late night at Horizon Labs when Dead-Pool and some thugs break-in. The goal of this break-in is to use an inter-dimensional portal, being developed at Horizon, to steal money. Dr. Bruce Banner, who is doing some after hours work for Horizon, gets dragged in by one of the thugs and the situation quickly escalates. Spider-man, Dead-pool, and the Hulk all get pulled into a parallel dimension. Where Peter meets the Amazing Spider, a perfect version of himself, or is ...

    A Perfect World 0

I´m a big fan of Spider-Man (or at least used to be) and once I heard that Lee Garbett was responsible for doing this issue I immediatly set my mind in buying it, and I wasn´t disapointed. This issue felt to me like the Spider I used to like, printed in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Sure, sure, it´s fill with cliches, like parallel universes, good being bad, the other Peter has a perfect life in a perfect world etc but still this issue made me laugh and it was entertaining - and that´s what comics...

    Deja Vu 0

Have any of you ever seen that last episode of that spiderman animated series? The one where Spiderman finally faces his destiny and has to journey to another dimension alone where he's super rich and everybody loves Spiderman there? Well, that's exactly what this comic feels like. And unlike most annuals i've read in the past this is really good. So, lets get to the review! The Plot: The issue opens up with earth 616 Peter Parker swinging through the streets of an alternate New York City in a d...
