This story arc has been one of the most exciting Spider-Man reads I’ve ever had. There are so many twists and turns and back stabbing one another it’s like a whole series of 24 in one comic. This issue was just as good as, if not better, than the last. So what happens? - Spider-Man has been caught out as Venom in disguise and finds himself at the mercy of Norman Osborn & Bullseye. They have him in a torture device trying to pry his Venom suit from him. This is what saved his life from the last issue, the suit stopped the bullet, thanks to the genius of Reed Richards, but Norman has discovered the suit was built by Richards and finds away to dissolve the suit in an attempt to un-mask Peter. Switch to Harry, who has arranged to meet his beloved Menace only to find out she does not want the cure he has stolen for her, but instead wants to continue to be the monstrous Menace as lover of Norman, father of her child! That’s right, the baby is Norman's! - NOT Harry's. That twist was so great in a weird incest kind of way. Harry escapes and decides to get his own back on his Dad. He dons the American Son suit just in time to save Spider-Man from being un-masked by kicking his Dads butt. This story continues in the next issue with the final part and I’ve never been more excited to read a Spider-Man book. Writing and art are fantastic and that is one fucked up cover. Buy this comic.

in my opinion out of all the dark reign tie ins this is the best it has been exciting and constiently good from the start it allows the story to unfold while giving you some great action scenes  getting to see spidey be a badass is awesome to see him take on the avengers is even better to see harry throw on the iron man suit to help spidey i cant wait for the next issue

I was never much a reader of Spider-Man, I loved the cartoon show back in the 90s and the movies too. But I was starting to buy them when they had Spidey reveal his secret Identity.... so you can imagine how much I hated One More Day. Not only they recton one of the biggest events of their big event, but erase over 2 decades of Spidey-History and expect us to believe things were better off, sure they brought back Harry, but they got rid of almost everything else except how Gwen Stacy made out with Osborn.
I only hear about what happens to Spider-Man over the last year, like his fight with Freak, the chance that MJ is jackpot,  Flash Thompson loosing his legs, Eddie Brock becoming Anti-Venom, and, of course, his team up with President Obama. Around this time, it occur to me that nearly everyone but Spider-man was selling the comic, and with this issue, it was no different.
Only this time,  I actually cared, I saw the twist the ending an online website and it seem so awesome that I wanted to buy it immediately, and trust me, even if you still hate Spider-Man, this issue will start changing your opinion.

Norman Osborn is sick this is a great spider-Man story and shows Normans evil side again which is what ive been waiting for since the dark reign started. And poor harry always the victim but this time hes fighting back damn i cant wait til next issue to see him kick his pop dukes butt. You got bullseye torturing Spider-Man and its jus great how they both jus go together comicly, It made me laugh in that short little exchangig of words they had. Menace reveals that norman is the father and not harry, that was juts a big surprise that i did  not even suspect in the least bit and just left me in shock and awe on how manipulative and crazy Norman really is. Overall i think it was a great issue and this american son dark reign tie-in is comming to an end and i wish it wasnt.

I love shocking twists....that aren't shocking. 1) Harry putting on the new armor = awesome but i kind of knew it was going to happen 2) Menace/Lily wanting to stay on the dark side and the baby not being Harry's cool twists but we kind of knew it was coming. I like seeing the armor finally in use and Harry fighting his dad (omg i really hate Norman). What was also not shocking was Norman having motives for Harry but what was actually surprising is how demente and evil they are. I liked the humor , seeing the original Bullseye outfit, Spidey/Norman fight and seeing Harry in the armor o and all the confirmation to my assumptions. I don't get how Lily looks like Loki now and really where Norman was going with his plans for Harry and whats with Normans little experiments is that Sentry in the tube (did you also see the name on the tube that read G Stacy)? Overall i like the issue the reveals weren't that surprising but they were just kind of predictable but just one of those things we been waiting to see.
