The Story

The Lizard has returned! Things don't look good for Spidey and he has to deal with the loss of The Silver Sable.Meanwhile Billy Connors corpse gets stolen by a certain vampire

The Good

Let me start of by saying I am really enjoying Dan Slotts run on Spider-man. Here we are dealing with Peter thinking about Sable. I enjoyed this part as we see Peter deal with it and MJ reminds him that it is impossible for him to save everybody and let "no one die" when he is around. The art in this was very nice by Camuncoli. His art has really grown on me especially when it is inked by Janson. Camuncoli draws a wonderful Spider-man and Lizard, and the fights were a joy to watch. The cover he drew is very well drawn and shows us how intimidating the Lizard truly is. With Billy's body got stolen, I will admit I felt sick to my stomach. Just by seeing Peter's reaction and him attacking Morbius was one moment I will remember for a while.

The Bad

I found nothing wrong with this Issue. I truly enjoyed it.

Overall

I truly enjoyed this first chapter of "No Turning Back". I cannot wait to see where this story will bring us. With the return of Dr.Connors at the end what will that mean for the Lizard? Overall this was a great opening to the book.

That cover.... is pretty messed up, but I certainly love it. I don't think there's going to be a lot of parents buying it for their kids because of the new Spider-Man movie, despite the tie-in of having the same villain, but DAMN do I love it. It's a powerful powerful image, and it's visceral but not grotesque. And in the issue, the use of Lizard doesn't feel forced in the least, it genuinely feels like a coincidence that the movie with the Lizard is coming out right next to this.For starters, t...

This issue puts a lot on the table and I am really looking forward to this storyline. The main things that happens in this issue is that we find out that Dr. Connors could be cured from The Lizard and be turned back completely into a human. But the start of this issue shows that Horizon Labs have just come back after helping Spiderman in the Ends of the Earth storyline. He then is talking to his co workers and sees that MJ is throwing him a party at her club. He then goes to the club to see MJ. ...
