Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut! Don't believe the hype.
"Nothing can stop the Juggernaut!"
A phrase uttered by Cain Marko, on many an occasion. The cover alone suggests otherwise.
I'll admit, I haven't read Amazing Spider-Man in a few months(since #600), and was afraid to jump into an issue so far removed. I'm happy to say this wasn't a problem. The 'Bugle Girl' page recapped recent events perfectly, allowing me to enjoy this issue, worry free.
First off, I loved the art on this issue. The cover alone makes me want to read this issue. I have been a fan of Lee Weeks work since I read the "Last Rites" storyline (Daredevil #297-300). Dean White's coloring is, for lack of a better word, amazing. Weeks art, along with White's colors look incredible together.
I have always enjoyed Roger Stern as a writer, and this issue is no different. Peter spends the issue trying to find out the identity of the Juggernaut's attacker, unknown to him (until the last page reveal) he finds a clue or two along the way.
The only thing missing, and not that big a deal (at least for me), was a lack of physical action. All in all, I liked the issue and am looking forward to next issue.
