    Hmmmm...my impressions on this story? Great. A really great double sized, anniversary issue from the Spidey team! David Michelinie creates a scary Venom at the beginning then when the fighting starts makes him seem a very formidable foe for Spidey! This is Venom before his 'over-used' years when all he knew how to say was "I'll eat your brains". And Spidey used his brain when he couldn't use his brawn to defeat Venom.     Best Part of the 80s 1

    When I think of the 80s I think of the creation of one of the world's greatest super villains of ALL TIME.  Not only does Todd McFarlane deliver us the goods, but he slaps them down on the table so hard you will NEVER FORGET THIS ISSUE.  I read it just about every week to remind myself of how hardcore Spider-man and Venom REALLY ARE.  Not only do they dominate in this comic, but they kick the crap out of each other so hard, THAT MY MIND IS BLOWN!  You haven't lived until you read this comic.  Th...

    Absolute classic and one of the best Spider-Man issues ever! Not only it fully introduces one of the most iconic villains ever, but it's also the origin of Venom. 25th anniversary special with iconic Todd McFarlane's cover, first fight between Spider-Man and Venom, Spidey goes back to his original costume, this issue just has it all. Every Spider-Man fan should read this comic!...
