Who is this artist? Todd Who? And Who is that mystery Villian at the end of the book? Man if I could go back in time to 1988 and relive that time in Amazing Spider-man, Where things were about to explode. This issue features Todd Mcfarlanes first issue. The first issue that you pick up and look at the cover a go holy crap!! Look at the detail this guy puts into his work. The main story itself was o.k. as Spider-man deals with our gambling man chance. Even that Villian looks bad ass the way Mcfarlane draws him. This is one of my favorite covers of all time. At the end of the book you see the first signs of things to come. A issuethat IS part of comic book history, and the beginning For Mr. Mcfarlane. I give this book a 5 out of 5
Thanks for Reading Mike Koz!! Happy collecting everyone :)

Great Art...Lame Story 0
Todd McFarlane debuts his fantastic art in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man with a somewhat lackluster story. This first of a two parter feels almost like it exists for no other reason than to push the series to issue 300 and ultimately the reveal of Venom. While it offers subtle hints on the last page that something bigger is on the horizon, in retrospect, this cliffhanger ending does nothing more than compound that feeling of the issue being a throw away story. There's an interesting concept...
