    No One To Blame 1

I had always thought J. Jonah Jameson had somehow tricked Jim Garagan into becoming the Scorpion. In every appearance I have ever seen him in he is yelling at him for being stuck in the suit. Yet in this, his origin issue, we find that he had a chance to give it up and was warned of the consequences. I have to say though, after this issue the Scorpion could be my favorite of the Spiderman villains. I definitly like his first appearance more than the other classic villains. I also like J. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #20 0

Here it is! The issue with the first appearence of the Scorpion. In this we also get his origin story, which is pretty rad. This comic is written by Stan Lee and drawn by one of my favorite artist Steve Ditko. I really enjoyed reading this issue. The story is great and the art is just fantastic. What i like the most about this issue is is that the Scorpion is not made out to be a joke. He's actually a threat to be reckoned with here. Scorpion defeats Spider-Man multiple times in this issue and he's set up as a really intimidating foe. It also shows how resilient Peter is. Each time he's defeated, he gets up and charges into battle with the Scorpion again, despite knowing that he...

    Not Worth Your Time 0

There is little to distinguish this issue. Sure, it's the first appearance of the Scorpion, but the fight between Scorpion and Spider-Man is in all ways conventional. The writing is in fact kind of bland and could just as easily have been any generic superhero fight.Ordinarily I'd rank such a comic 2.5 stars out of 5, a right down the middle average issue. But then there's some other things I distinctly dislike about this issue. For one thing, Spider-Man sneaks into his house which is under surv...
