Tessek was exiled from Mon Calamari for selling out the people of that world to the Galactic Empire, he joined Jabba The Hutt's gang and served as Jabba's accountant. Being of an aquatic species Tessek hated living on the planet Tatooine. After the destruction of the Sail Barge, and Jabba's death, Tessek joined the B'Omarr Monks, his brain was removed from his body and placed in a brain jar, where he would dedicate his thoughts to contemplating the nature of existance
