Are Terminators real? Apparently last week, a nineteen year-old man thought they were. Actually it's more than that. He thought he was one. On Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Harrah's Lake Tahoe casino arcade, Sean Stanly Smith was arrested and jailed for indecent exposure and resisting arrest.
According to the Record-Courier, a police officer was flagged down at 1:45 p.m. It was reported to the officer that a naked man was running across the Nevada/California state line. When the officer found him and told the suspect to stop, he ran inside the casino.
What makes this possibly sad is he ran into an arcade and "startled" the children present. It's pretty safe to say that no one really wants to see a naked man running in all his glory. These poor kids could be scarred for life. Either that or they'll have quite a story to tell their friends.
The man was finally stopped after the officer tasered him. The man told the officer that he had "ingested marijuana and LSD" and was naked because he "thought he was a 'Terminator.'"
Lesson to be learned? Don't do drugs and run around naked in front of children. And no matter what, you are not a Terminator.
