Terminator

History

In 2029, in the future the world is made where humans must be destroyed. That's when they started to send back a cyborg to kill all of the Connors. The Connors are the ones who will rebel in the future. The cyborg killed two of the three but, was stopped by a time traveler named Kyle Reese. Kyle tells Sarah who is the last Connor that the cyborg was called the Terminator who was trying to kill her. They were invented by Skynet to destroy all humans. He tells her that she will have a son named John Connor who will lead the rebel team in the future. That's why they sent the terminator back to kill her. So, she won't have her son to lead the rebel. This would make the machines win in the future.

The Terminator does not feel pain. His mission is to kill the Connors. When Kyle is done telling Sarah everything the cyborg strikes again. This causes a car chase. But, in doing this Sarah gets arrested. The police say that Kyle's story is crazy and stupid. That's when the Terminator arrives at the police station and kills most of the police there. Sarah escapes from the Terminator with Kyle.

When they were at a motel Kyle confesses his love towards her and she loves him to. Then the Terminator shows up and Kyle gets shot but is still alive. That's when Sarah shot a tanker truck. The cyborg is thought to have been killed. But the bare metal form rises up and attacks them again. That's when Kyle put a bomb in the cyborg's stomach and blew off the cyborg's legs but, this also killed Kyle. Then Sarah puts the machine in a machine press and kills it.

Personality

T-800 (The Terminator)

"I'll be back!"

Unlike most other Terminators, who could exhibit emotional attachment, frustration, shock, fear and a sense of humor, the first T-800 was extremely emotionless, cold, violent and ruthless. It almost never showed any facial expression beyond a cold and flat face, and it usually only spoke when it meant to engage others for information or when it intended to throw unwanted attention off of itself. The T-800 was noted to have an "attitude problem," tending to physically throw others out of its way to get past them or to use a phone booth. The T-800 was also very brutal and completely merciless and was quick to killing when others in any way didn't cooperate with its plans and demands. Like most Terminators, the first T-800 was single-minded and inhumanly relentless in completing its mission at all costs, to the point that it continued its pursuit of Sarah Connor without giving up, even when it lost its skin sheath and its legs in the process.

Despite its almost-blank personality though, the Terminator did still possess just enough social information to calculate what the best verbal response with which to throw off unwanted attention was. It was also intelligent and resourceful enough to calculate multiple different methods of tracking down and/or killing Sarah Connor; from pursuing and murdering all Sarah Connors named in a phone book, to impersonating Sarah's mother over the phone in order to obtain her location, to attempting to run Sarah down with a commandeered truck.

T-800 (Terminator 2)

"Hasta la vista, baby!"

This Terminator had all the strengths and capacity of the first unit, and was very logical, and at first seemed to have a limited capacity for human emotion and learning. After his learning capabilities were activated, the Terminator began to exhibit other human traits such as humor, quipping "I need a vacation" after defeating the T-1000, and an understanding for compassion, as he tenderly wipes John's tears away and hugs him like a father before allowing itself to be destroyed to save humanity. John later says to a T-850 that the T-800 was the closest thing he had to a father. This model displayed the most "humanity" for lack of a better word, being able to use humor, taunts and expressions that are needless for a machine, no matter the circumstances, he smirked when discovering the mini-gun and later again when asking John to trust him, pulled a shrugging expression when John yelled at him for not yet realizing why he can't kill people, more evidence is in his speaking tone, while logical and computer like at first, he began speaking more like a human at the end of the film: "John, you got to go now, go! now!" - T-800 speaking with stress and urgency.

He was able to understand why humans cry and eventually able to sacrifice itself for humanity when its only mission was simply to protect John Connor, during this action he was able to defy John's order which would be hardwired in his programming, it is possible that the chip reset meant that he was no longer under orders from John, if this was indeed the case, then it means the T-800 had followed and protected John of its own volition, which is even more impressive.

Abilities

Strength

The T-800 models are strong enough to punch through a person's body and rip their heart out, easily break bones and can throw a person several feet into the air. Smash through walls, lift a car and a bus.

Speed

Managed to sneak out of a car being surrounded by police, none of them saw him get out and caught a bullet with his teeth point blank.

Durability

Can withstand physical blows from other T-800's, the 1000, and the T-X.

Adaptability

Learning machine; adapts to human behaviors through observation, interaction, and question.

The Terminator

In the first terminator movie, the cyborg is sent to kill Sarah Connor before she conceives a future rebel leader, John Connor. Kyle Reese is sent back to save Sarah from the killer cyborg.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

In the sequel an advanced Terminator called T-1000 is sent back to 1997 where he has to kill young John Conner after the T-800 terminator failed to kill Sarah. Sarah Connor was sent to the mental institution where she claims that cyborgs are coming from the future and destroy mankind. However, this time the reprogrammed T-800 terminator comes back to save Sarah and John from the T-1000. The trio of heroes also plan to destroy the company who is responsible for creating Skynet and the terminators in the first place.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

In the third movie, we learn that John Conner, now a young adult, has been living "off the grid." An advanced terminator, the T-X, has been sent back in time to kill those who would become Conner's lieutenants in the coming War between the Humans and the Machines. As fate causes Conner to cross paths with veterinarian Kate Brewster, his future wife, it also alerts the T-X of Conner's whereabouts. Fortunately, another reprogrammed T-800 terminator comes back to protect Conner again. The T-800 informs Conner that Skynet still exists, and Judgment Day is inevitable, but Conner and Brewster, whose father is in charge of the Skynet defense system, are determined to prevent Judgment Day from happening.

Terminator Salvation

The fourth entry in the series acts as a prequel to the previous Terminator trilogy. In the fourth movie, a half-human, half-cyborg suffers amnesia and tries to find out his real identity. Along the way, he meets young Kyle Reese and the adult John Connor who has yet to lead the Resistance forces. Together, they must stop the cyborgs and other cybernetic organisms from attacking the human survivors.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day - The Arcade Game, also known as T2: The Arcade Game on home consoles, is an on-rails arcade shooter released in 1991. The story of the game is loosely based on the second film. The Terminator must save the leader of the Human Resistance, John Connor, and his mother, Sarah, from the T-1000.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

A third-person platform/action game with five levels. Developed by Acclaim Entertainment and LJN. Released in 1991 on the NES and then ported to Sega Game Gear and Master System. Like the arcade version, the story is loosely based on the second film.
