Whether you love or hate American Football, we can all look forward to the big game because it means amusing new commercials. Sure, there's the funny ones, but for us, it's exciting because it means movies will do their best to win over audiences. Usually we need to watch the game to see the new footage, but the TV spot for Terminator Genisys has been released early. While the 30-second spot may not give plenty of new footage, it does offer a better look at the antagonist and there's a quick look at a shot that's blatantly inspired by Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The studio also provided a new poster.

Are you looking forward to returning to this universe or are you not all that interested in what they've been showing us? Terminator Genisys is directed by Alan Taylor and it's scheduled to open July 1.

I loved Terminator and Terminator 2 because it was different and new to me .It mixed time travel ,robots and solid action. THIS is just another generic action movie and the studio is just milking the cash-cow as dry as possible by using the name of the franchise.

I'm already excited over Genisys...At least, I can safely say that it's better than Salvation, that's for sure.

Please be good. This is one of my favorite franchises, largely due to the novels that expanded the universe after T2. T3 was a letdown and T4 was atrocious....I really hope this is good and not a complete screw-up.

Agreed on the Sarah part. The story after T2 could be clown like terminators and wouldn't make it worse. They haven't given a thought past ticket price on this.
