It really does seem as though the creators of the new TMNT movie really do hate us. Yesterday it was announced that Whoopi Goldberg has been cast as April O'Neil's boss at Channel Six News, Bernadette Thompson. I can't say that I'm upset about the casting but I am upset that it seems as though the writers are drawing inspiration from the animated series from the 80's where April O'Neil was a newscaster under the employ of Burne Thompson.
