The real question is how are these weapons gonna cause unnecessary explosions

Ever wonder where they got those weapons in the sewer? Did Splinter visit the dead Hamato Yoshi's apartment after he was mutated?

I don’t have any problems with their size, I am curious about what new Fichtner could bring to Shredder, but Megan Fox equals “no-go” for me.

The foot has guns now, i don't see the point of having these weapons.

I dunno guys, I'm excited for this movie. The posters, though subtle, are cool.

What's going to kill this movie is the fact that Micheal Bay is even mentioned in the same sentence as this movie, there are too many people who just have a bad taste in their mouth when his name is brought up. It also didn't help they brought in Megan Fox as April O'Neil it makes the whole thing seem like they are making Teenage Mutant Ninja Transformers

Here is the difference, Michael Bay, this is not the comics, Shredder and the Foot has been changed.

I'm digging this so far, so there a little bigger big deal I don't think it matters in the ninja world (I know small people who can't sneak for anything, and a couple of big guys who are like the wind) there personalities seem to be spot on. And hey, April even has here yellow coat.

Too bad the true April O'neil created by Eastman isn't a reporter, she's scientist almost on par with Donnie....

There are several different versions with red and brunette hair.

Never liked ninja turtles, even as a kid from the TV shows. It had 1 decent movie that I liked though. So not really exited, but probably going to take a look.

I could've missed this, but the fact I have to ask suggests horrible things considering the unmissable uproar of the Human Torch being played by a black man.

Why is Shredder white and why is this not maddeningly offensive to EVERYONE?

You must have missed it, because plenty have expressed anger over it in various threads and such. At any rate, there's a very strong rumor that Oroku Saki exists in this movie universe and Fitchner is essentially the "US branch" of the Foot or something along those lines. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'll check it out and im willing to give Meg a chance because I LOVED the movie 'Jennifer's Body.

What I find funny is how EVERYONE several months ago was absolutely boycotting this movie, even after the original changes were reversed and it was brought back closer to the comic roots, instead of using that strange alien origin story.

Now that the release is getting closer, just about EVERYONE is loosening up and quickly making sure no one sees them changing their minds, 'okay, well, as long as no one sees me coming around now...'

Look, if you swear you'll never see a movie, follow through and don't watch it and don't pay the Evil Tyrannical Hollywood (who always seems to be running out of ideas, according to most of today's internet users who still watches their movies despite their numerous complaints).

I remember reading so many messages of people swearing they'd never watch this pathetic excuse of a Ninja Turtles film. But now people are completely reversing those opinions, and even the ones saying 'Meh' are still probably going to tune in eventually. Maybe not when the movie's released, maybe not even when it gets released to home media, but maybe they'll watch most of the film when they see it's playing on cable or it's been added to Netflix.

I don't get it.

I'm excited for this movie. I just hope they keep the humor from the original movies and that they don't trade in the pizza-love for an other fastfood..

The poster looks good, but April... oh boy, it turned me down.

bad acting, only an eye candy.... why did they cast her in the 1st place?

I'm truly excited for this film. I can't wait to experience how the creators of this film manages to save the nostalgic themes of the characters and story while offering their own fresh spin on them.

I mean if I want the same old story I can go to many different art mediums for that. I respect what an artist can do and would like to see their creative side involved in the project. So a few changes here and there. I understand. Hopefully it all works out.

Does it bother anyone else the Turtles have fingernails?

@amazingwebhead: well in the original cartoon Splinter was Hamato Yoshi just mutated in to a rat by the same mutagen as the turtles so he could have just taken the stuff with him when he moved to the sewers after he got mutated.
