We've heard a lot of casting news and seen photos of filming in Manhattan, but now we're getting a look at where the Heroes in a Half Shell will call home! According to Latino Review, this will be the brand new sewer lair for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

TMNT: brought to you by Pizza Hut!
Not a single monitor is on comicvine.com? For shame, Donny.

Skateboards? Check. Pizza? Check. Technology for Donny? Check. Doesn't look bad at all. We could question how those pizza boxes would support their weight (especially since they seem rather big in set photos), but when we're talking about a movie about mutated Turtles who are ninjas and there's apparently an alien invasion, the point seems a bit trivial, doesn't it? What do you think of the set, Viners?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and expected to come out August 8th, 2014.

I haven't liked anything I've seen from this film so far, but this is a pretty cool and faithful adaption of the TMNT's lair.

Perfect. That's almost exactly how I would picture an underground lair for mutant teenage turtles who have a deep appreciation for pizza. It's also a great product placement for Pizza Hut.

Awesome stuff!! Can't wait to get a glimpse of the turtles! Now I'm in the mood for pizza.

Some good details there, with the curved chair backs and hammock things... This looks good.

Now if they just make the damn Foot into ninjas instead of commando's I'll stop throwing nerd fits about the movie. It might be good, I'm just so worried about it shitting on the "ninja" aspect of all this stuff...

Oh yeah, and Megan Fox *vomit*

This is a very faithful representation of the classic lair, wouldn't have been a big deal if they had gone for something a little different, but this choice does fill me with a degree of elation.

Ha, ha! I'm eating pizza for dinner right now.

Anyway, the lair looks great. I sure hope the movie does the turtles justice.

Yeah, I hope we see more good stuff from this film's production soon. Don't want to this terrible despite the feeling in my gut telling me it will.

The subway lair they had in "Secret of the Ooze" was the coolest one.

@k4tzm4n: I have to say. Just because a person has like 20 monitors for a computer. does not mean they are smart. by the looks of it he has only one keyboard. so unless he has a smart interface which all screens act as one desktop theme and he can move pictures over. They are over playing the nerd aspect unless they can show that the OS as well as the computer itself is capable of handling that type of graphics and memory.

since it is not a touch screen he can't use pinch. mind you its mainly for Apple Products.

but other than that the lair seems nice.

A couch made out of Pizza Hut boxes?

I'm sold.

Oh, thank God. I was really worried this movie wouldn't have blatant product placement all over the place. I was truly scared that they would make clever, fake brand names to exist inside the movies universe...

#48 Posted by opticblast (6 posts) - - Show Bio

This is really good, and very 90's looking!!! I bet that the Workstation with computers is Donatello's work :)

Cant wait for it, lets hope it's good as the ones from the 80's!
