Looks like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are shying away from 3D animation for a new television special, set to air on Sunday, November 22. Reported by IGN, Nickelodeon is running a new special titled "Half-Shell Heroes: Blast to the Past," where the Ninja Turtles will be encountering friendly dinosaurs and tacking on dangerous aliens.

In addition, Bebop and Rocksteady will show up. Most importantly, the show, modeled after the style of the Playmates' Half-Shell Heroes action figure line, will have Turtles riding dinosaurs.

Definitely obvious a toy advertisement, but hey, TMNT has always been about that and has done pretty well. Besides, this may very well be a fun and cute thing to watch. I'm definitely gonna watch.

    Wow!

I was about to say that I find it interesting that they gave Donnie the T-Rex and this picture is amazing because it shows that "they've" done this before while also remind me that I actually almost completely forgot about these toys. A friend of mine had the Donatello T-Rex toy on this picture. I got flashbacks when I saw your picture.

    Anyways:

I still find it interesting they gave Donnie the T-Rex, Raph the pterodactyl and Mikey the stegosaurus. I find Leo's choice less surprising but still.

    GOOD TIMES

    thanks for reading. (+)
