TWO NEW ISSUES THIS WEEK FOR TMNT FANS!

A new issue for the on-going and a 100 page "spectacular."

All I know is that if Sub-Zero didn't have his ice powers Leonardo would totally beat him. 

As soon as I start getting issues I will be all over this.I read all of the Mirage TMNT.Hopefully the IDW series has more mutants that I remember from the animated series.I think so far i've only encountered Leatherhead.

When are they going to bring back that girl turtle?

I love how people flock to comment about the TMNT movie, claiming to be fans and all that, yet I feel as though only a handful are following this title. It's rather disappointing that this series isn't getting more love and support from the same crowd.

Now that you mention it, I don't remember the story of the live action series but how did Venus even fit in the first place? Splinter would have to be kind a douche for their to have been another turtle and he abandoned her.

My memory is hazy on it since I only watched a few episodes but I believe Splinter's friend (the guy that taught Venus magic) wanted one and he agreed or something like that. I did read that Peter Laird absolutely hates the character Venus and during the making of TMNT director Kevin Munroe was very specifically instructed not to mention her, or even joke about her in front of Peter lol.

That is probably because most "fans" have only experienced the franchise with the movies or cartoons. Half the people I talk to about the franchise did not even know it was originally a comic or that it currently has an ongoing.

I've read the whole series so far and reviewed 2 (soon to be 3) issues.... 5 out of 5 every time.

@inferiorego: Wow that's good :O Hopefully i can pick them up then without having to pay too much. Is there a trade out soon or something along those lines?

wow the issue 13 just gave us more questions....I really hope they do a flashback one shot or mini now...show us how Shredder was revived and what was going on before issue one

i started reading this series after a spontaneous thought at the comic book store and as someone whos only read some the reprints of the original series and watched both animated series these comics are great
