    Different Feel

I have to say that reading this issue was a nice experience. I can't say what exactly it was but something about this book felt very old school TMNT to me. This issue of course focuses on Casey and it does so powerfully. One might think it would be an issue of him busting heads, which it does have that but it's a very emotional issue as well as we some bits of his past dealing with his mother and his father. The depths of Casey we see in this are by and far more than I expected. I actually bought this because Raphael is my favorite turtle and only wanted to see his bits in it but lo and behold I actually enjoyed the bits not involving him. I liked the art, it had a similar old school feel to it, not quite Eastman/Laird, but something similar to them. Definitely check this book out if you are a fan and even if you're not, give it a read. Fantastic issue.
