    Don't be biased

So, I'm a huge TMNT fan. I was a kid in the 80s and early 90s so of course they were my first official obsession. I never really bought the comics until this run started so I figured I would give it a try, especially with Kevin Eastman having a hand in things. I have liked it. Not loved, but I have enjoyed it and even recommended it to fans. It's a fun read with some nods to things from the original comics and the old cartoon(YES!!!) This issue starts the next story arc and sort of brings things over from the first arc. It's very interesting to see this new take and where it's going. I have to say that even though growing up on the toon I was blown away when I recently got to read the original comics which...wow they're good. I was expecting those types of stories going in but things are quite different. Now I wouldn't expect the IDW bunch to simply reprint TMNT in it's original context but being an old school fan, I am fighting the urge to be biased and give this a low rating because things are so different but my complaint with number 6 isn't the changes it's just flowing in an odd way. Obviously being the first of the new arc it's merely a stage-setter so we will simply have to wait and see but I give it a 3 and a half because it's a little choppy.

Thanks to me playing the old video games on my emulator, I've been getting back into TMNT. Despite this being Issue Six, this could easily be a first issue. It opens with enough information and closes with you wanting more. While I don't really care about the events ...

This is a series that has just been on fire. Eastman bringing back The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mastering the best origins possible for the book. I congratulates the creative team. In the beginning of this book we get to see a glimpse of The Foot. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles follow there training and don’t get involved but to watch. The TMNT understand from this incident that there is trouble ahead. We also get to see Casey Jones meet April O’Niel and that’s going exciting since there a...
