There was no reason for him to be green in the first place. So I picked red

To me there's been no reason yet for him to be colored red. I know some say it's because of his ties to the Red... butthats not really making any sense to me, not like every other human and animal are colored red either, not even Animal Man is colored red.

The green Beast Boy is best.

I grew up with green beast boy, to me he is and always will be green.

I like him red. Reminds me of Fang :)

It's been part of his charm for his entire printed career.

that was kinda the whole point. he was created to join the Doom Patrol whose entire gimmick was that they were seen as freaks by the world at large

I "understand" why they made him red but I will always prefer a green Beast Boy. Seeing him red just doesn't look right to me.
