Well for those of you out there who care, recently I have been reading the teen titans (volume 3) like my life depends on it, in the last 2 months I've been able to read from issue 1 all the way to 100. Having just finished the last issue before the reboot all I'm left with is a sad feeling. while I think they couldn't have ended it with a better story arch, I'm left wanting more. With the reboot issues all caught up on already, I have no where to go with me and my obsessive personality. And while I'm sure I'll find something to do in between the monthly issues. I'm just a little sad that my teen titans hunger will have to starve.

I understand the feeling I read #1 years ago and went about reading every single issue since, and of course I was kinda bummed when it ended. That said I have really really been loving Lobdell's take on the series and like other people on this thread have been enjoying the new characters. Every incarnation of the Titans ends and the one we were reading was fast approaching an end reboot or no because the characters were out growing the role, I believe Tim already outgrew it before the reboot. Think of it like this the reboot gives you an extended period to see these characters as Titans

@BlackArmor: Think we can all agree that post-FP Red Robin is a very different character from the pre-FP Red Robin...so I suppose a valid question would be; why would we want them to remain as Teen Titans in favor of letting them grow up? (Ignoring the DC-imposed glass ceiling there is on certain characters)

@petlover1112: Feel with ya.

I don't think DC wants to take a chance on a completely new cast, Tim and Conner can both hold there own book and along with Cassie and Bart they have a built in fanbase that the Teams name doesn't on it's own. Add that to probably having a hard time finding a place to put them individually while shuffling every other character for the new 52 and the fact that some of them (Tim) had to be deaged n order t fit into the new time line and that probably explains why there still teens. I've been enjoying Lobdell's Tim but at the same time sorely miss the development he gained in RR

Just adding too this after reading the new issues of the new 52 teen titans, they are still close to my heart in a weird kinda way, with superboy starting all over again and seeing their relationships start over again is a little heartbreaking it's also kind of interesting I've started to look for secret hidden clues and hints but hey i'm just lame like that... :P

so i guess my status on it would be: still missing the old but definitely looking forward to the new!
