Felicia Henderson has this her second issue to try to win my over and she ultimately failed. And unfortunately she didn't have Joe Bennett's stellar artwork to back up her crazy and confusing tale of an invasion of Titans Tower by a truly freakish creature that feeds of psychic and empathic energy and its army of misfits.  This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy Yildiray Cinar's artwork in the main and second feature story, but it wasn't the same, nor did the muted colors of Pete Pantazis help bring this action and drama packed story to full life. I like the conflict between experienced Titan, Beast Boy, against Wonder Girl and the other members, but I hope this is something that's resolved sooner than later, after all, both Cassie and Gar were teammates not too long ago. The relationship between Gar and Raven is briefly explored through Gar's eyes, but it's unclear how Raven really sees their relationship/friendship as she's unconscious until the conclusion. My biggest problem with this issue is the pacing, things get lost, or misinterpreted from panel to panel. Like did Static rescue Wonder Girl from the avalanche of foes, or did she rescue herself? Look back at my review for last issue and you'll read a similar complaint. The only thing that held this issue together for me was the Ravager story which continues to highlight a character that grows on me more and more as she confronts herself through her efforts to rescue kidnapped children. I look forward to each installement every month!
