Teen Titans versus The Rogues versus Deathstroke versus some unsolved personal issues versus your money.   dooG ehT No offense to J.T. Krul but this is Teen Titans I really wanna read about. After the Deathtrap crossover and a couple of Blackest Night tie-ins I've struggled to like the main title badly. With this year's Henderson's run the book was on the brink of disaster and, frankly, even J.T. couldn't make me worry about this team again. And what was my surprise when a little one-shot calle...

You don't know how long i've been waiting for this, sexy. 1

Wait! What? *starts panicking like a little kid*, where’s the continuity?! Where and I?!    When am I?! What’s going on!!!........ So for those of you not fluent in panic-eas I’ll try and translate the above into English. Teen Titans: Cold Case dose not take place in current continuity. This one-shot takes place after Identity Crisis and before Final Crisis. Superboy and Kid Flash are still dead, Kid Devil is still alive and Tim Drake is still Robin. So unless you’ve figured that out you’re goin...

    Thawing the 'Past' 1

There was only ONE thing on my mind when I got this one shot special: GEOFF JOHNS why didn't you write this? The idea of Teen Titans against The Rogues definitely sounded like an idea that Johns would have developed since his start on the book and his interest in The Flash.Assuming that this adventure takes place after the "NEW TEEN TITANS" story arc (#34-37) and before "TITANS AROUND THE WORLD" (#38-41) it's great to see the ONE YEAR LATER Titans: Robin (Tim, before he leaves the team in #67 a...

Let me star off by mentioning that I did not plan on picking this issue up. I saw it on the stands, and as I flipped through it, i realized how good the art is. When I flip back to the cover, Murphy's name is there. That alone made me buy it. So, theres no need to say that I love the artwork in this book. Not only the pencils, but mixed with the colors it makes the book look amazing. Also, the way Murphy draws the Rogues, then end up looking so good. On to Mark Sable's writing. To be honest, I d...

Why wasn't this in the regular Teen Titans? 0

The Teen Titans face off against The Rogues in this untold story. Pros: This one shot does bring back some good (and bad) times of the early Teen Titans. This story is set sometime after the death of Superboy and Flash (aka Bart) and is told in Robin's perspective during a time when Tim is feeling uneasy: Fathers Day. While this is about Robin, it's also about Ravenger as Deathstroke lures the Teen Titans in another one of his mind games.   Despite no Flash or Kid Flash (or speedster at that mat...

    A Big Happy Family 0

First of all, I´m not a big fan of Robin, the Titans and the Flash, so the most natural feeliing for me when I bought this comic was not to feel so happy and excited about it, and a little lost too. But it was for my fortune that this one shot orbits in an event that took place in the aclaimed "Identity Crisis", by Meltzer and Rags Morales, and reading this book turned out to be quite entertaining and fun. The Rogues against the Titans (or a part of them, I´m not sure this is after Blackest Nigh...
