    Titans Getting Schooled 1

The Good: J.T. Krul is really impressing me with his writing. His Damian is fantastic. He always takes everything personally, and almost goes out of his way to take offense at anything said, and it clearly doesn't feel like a conscious effort. He's suffering from a self imposed isolation. Deep down, I think he wants to be more like his father, and automatically assumes nobody likes him, and then plays up the persona that he blames as the reason for people not liking him.            Teen Titans got lucky man. I mean, the book was in one of the worst slump I've seen in a long while when J. T. Krul came on board with Nicola Scott. These two have pretty much saved a great book and have managed to make me practically forget of the year of issues that sucked. With strong action, great characters, and a horizon that couldn't look brighter if they tried (Get it? Solstice is joining hehe), Teen Titans is one of the top books to keep an eye on. With that being said, let's div...

    Back to school 0

Synopsis: The Teen Titans locate the school that Barney Venton is, only to find out that it's full of powered High school kids. What's good? I got to hand it to the new villain. Other than Barney receiving powers, there are also other teenagers who have powers as well for different reasons. There's also less drama in this issue when it comes to Conner and Cassie's relationship along with any other romantic relationship (Gar and Raven) And while Ravager and Damian don't agree on almost anything ...

"It was all dwarfed by a tidal wave of loneliness" 0

Be sure to check out my review of Teen Titans #89. 100 Words Or LessThe Titans are still in search of Barney after their meeting at the Science Expo, hoping to get to him before he causes any more harm to the innocent and to himself. Meanwhile, Damien gets some training time in with Ravager, who tries to put their differences aside for the greater good of the team, only to run into resistance. The team finds Barney at his old high school and end up trapped inside, where they must deal with ...
