Review: Teen Titans 82 0

The plot summary given for this issue is pretty misleading, you're only given one panel about the Conner/Wonder Girl problem, the rest of the issue centers around Holocaust, a villian that it takes the entire team to defeat him.  I was reminded of Doomsday when I read this issue with the concluding blow that left the villian underground.     Good issue, definitely interested in where the team goes from here....

Teen Titans vs. Holocaust 0

The cover for this issue I enjoyed. It did not tell about the story but, I am always a sucker for covers with the whole team in it.  The story was mostly a fight between Holocaust and the teen titans. The teen titans defeat him by putting him into the core of the earth. Frida forgives static and asks for a phone call every once in awhile. I will not spoil the ending put I will say it leads to another fight. My favorite part of the issue would have to be Frida forgiving Static because I do not th...

The end of one problem, and moving on to the next one. 0

Seeing Cyborg, Kid Flash, and Superboy with the Teen Titans almost reminded me of Geoff John's beginning for this book (he wanted Static as a part of the team in the One Year Later story, but there was 'red tape' to get around). Some of the dialogue, however, seemed a bit cheesy. Glad to see that something from MILESTONE FOREVER #2 has reflected onto this book as Frieda was blushing after her talk with Virgil (I hope that we'll see more MILESTONE CHARACTERS in future issues). As for 'Control Fr...

So in last months thrilling instalment of Teen Titans we had Beast bot, Raven, Miss Martian and Blue beetle track down Wondergirl, Aquagirl, Bomb shell and Static to Holocosts "Hole" where they were being held captive for experiments by a fat guy in a superman shirt. The rescue party then get into a fight with Holocaust where they get whuped. But when all seems lost Vic turns up with his own rescue party of titans, consisting of him, Superboy and Kid Flash. And now Teen Titans #82....  Ok, as yo...

All Apart of the Plan? 0

Alright so I have been giving writer Felicia Henderson some slack since she had to pick up writing duties on a book that badly needed help and with Blackest Night in full swing.  Now however, I feel that it is time that I can point some things out.  The addition of Kid Flash and Superboy to the ranks of the team was a welcome sign but I thought that some other points in the issue were not explained or hinted at very well.  For example, the fat guy who was helping Holocaust never was named. Now a...
