Teen Titans #16 0

Gotham Runs Red!To see this review with images, Click Here.RHATO #16 was a massive disappointment with a story which completely skipped the plot of Red Hood and Red Robin to focus instead on Roy Harper and the Teen Titans. Presumably, Teen Titans will be focused purely on the Reds which would mitigate some of these annoyed feelings of mine. I've already read a preview for this issue, and I am actually a little excited because in the preview, Tim was presented as analyzing the situation in a fash...

Teen Titans #16 0

PREFACEThe Titans/Outlaws team up comes to an end, as well as the tie ins to Death of the Family. Lobdell has finished up with the Titans and Outlaws mission in the pages of Red Hood and the Outlaws, but now it is time for Red Robin and Red Hood to take center stage. What challenges will they face, and is it so significant that these two wayward brothers will fight to the death?! The Joker's plan all ends in Batman 17, but on to the review.PLOT:Tim Drake and Jason Todd are in the grasps of the J...

I think I liked it 0

(Ps, don't read if you don't like spoilers)My thoughts going in:I both like and dislike Scott Lobdell. I love what he's done with Red Hood and The Outlaws, a bit neutral with Superboy, and I haven't been all that keen on Teen Titans, but I've stuck with it because of how much I loved it in the past and I'm just kind of hoping it comes together. I really love what he's done with Jason Todd, but not so much with Tim Drake, and I dislike both of their backgrounds of "not really being Robins" and no...

Robins and Hoods 0

This issue was pretty cool overall. The fight between Red Hood and Red Robin was well thought out, Joker's foresight into both their psyche's was actually believable, even being prepared for them to have a specific plan to fight back when they were forced into a fight with each other; even though both were unaware of the other being aware of The Joker's trap. And the fight was cool, even if the panel layouts made it a little hard to follow. And I liked the nice focus on the 'outcast brothers' be...

Brother's Don't Shake Hands, Brother's Have to Punch 0

Let me start off by saying I am not a regular Teen Titan's reader. I bought this issue because I figured I would try reading all of the Death of the Family books. I already get most of the main books, so for one month I could get a couple of extra books. The story of this issue runs parallel to Red Hood and the Outlaws. It's not known when in the Death of the Family storyline this takes place. I like to think Joker is doing a bunch of things all at once, going back and fourth. 'Red Robin and Red ...

Fighting Brothers 0

I have enjoyed this series since it started over a year ago, and although it's had a few bumps along the way, it's still been a very fun series. I was looking forward to this part in the Death of the Family crossover, as it also has this series crossing over with Red Hood and the Outlaws, something I wanted to see, especially considering Scott Lobdell writes both.PlotThis issue sees Red Robin (Tim Drake) facing of against Red Hood (Jason Todd) in a fight to the death, with their fathers on the l...

A Robin Parent Trap 0

Red Robin and Red Hood are put to the test by the Joker in a perfect example of a filler issue. Death of the Family continues to be an overall sound and riveting read, but in every big event there are those issues that undeniably seem hollow....

red goes with red 0

Plot Analysis:If you've been falling behind in teen titans because of it's quality, you might want to give it a second chance. The dialogue is getting better, and this issue definitely satisfied my taste because it had action. It was a battle of the reds. Red hood getting violent with Red Robin was awesome. It was interesting how they had a brotherly connection because they knew what they had to do. They both made a plan (actually Red Robin did and hood just followed) to stop the joker. The one ...
