    Teen Titans #10

    THE GOOD:
I really like Brett Booth's artwork. I'm glad that they are on an island with dinosaurs because he really knows how to draw those two things. I really like how the characters show emotion. I really like seeing them happy after 9 issues of them being miserable and his art just conveys that. The story is more talking then anything else, but I'm cool with that. I'm really liking the characterization of all the characters and it makes reading the issues much funner. I'm also really starting to like a lot of the character more then I did in the past. Bunker is growing on me and this version of Wonder Girl and Superboy are easily getting better each issue. Scott Lobdell writes better talking scenes then huge plots in my opinion.

    THE BAD:
This is going to sound mean, but the editor is annoying to me. I don't like the little notes he leaves. I'm not entirely sure it's all him, but it's just annoying to me. I also wish that they stayed on the island and made it their base with the tower. I would by that more then in the middle of a huge city.

    THE VERDICT: 4/5 (Great)
Scott Lobdell is a writer I have mixed feelings about. We get a great issues, but the next one isn't so good. I think that we are going in a good direction now. I think N.O.W.H.E.R.E. was a villain that should have waiting until we liked the character a little bit more. Anyway, if you like the characters, I would say start with this issue and skip 1-9. There is a lot of character and it recaps the story fairly often.

Oh god my eyes, this cover is so ridiculously overcrowded. I keep forgetting that Solstice is there because she's just lost in the background. And Kid Flash barely stands out amongst those dinosaurs, and the specific tilted perspective just doesn't work here. Is he running downhill? No, the trees are tilted along with the ground. I also think it's hilariously quaint that they're trying to make this dramatic with the 'Solstice and Kid Flash IN A RACE TO EXTINCTION' text here because those two loo...
