Tarzan's Savage Fury is the fourth Tarzan film starring Lex Barker as Tarzan. This movie does make some allusions to the Tarzan novels. It notes Tarzan's relation to Britain's aristocratic Greystoke family, and the villain Rokov is clearly patterned on Rokoff, a villain in the early Tarzan novels
