The Mists Of Darkness _ pt. 1 of 4
This issue was nearly perfect! It almost fits in with the original storyline, a tale of fantasy and magic. Once again a war of mystics will begin and I am really excited to see it play out. And to make the issue even better, it combined its teasing along with a real story.
This Azure character at first seemed to be nothing more than some lonely loser to me, but he's starting to already improve in my eyes. In fact, I have nothing but idolization for the elf when I learn that he won Raven Hex over to his side with her unaware that her allies are being taken out of the equation by none other than Azure's agents.
Now all I can do is wait...wait for the greatest battle of all time.
The Mists Of Darkness _ pt. 1 of 4
I was reading Tarot books for quite a bit there and then I had to take a break. The stories were becoming a little dry. However, I decided to get back and start up again and boy did I stop right before what looks like a good story.
My favorite of the whole Tarot series (well one of them anyway) was when Raven Hex tried to turn the world into a Witch World. I liked this series best when you had the 'bitchy' Raven Hex as a baddie and Tarot as a goodie two-shoes type. I think that's what weakened this series was when Raven Hex became a friendly type.
Now she's returned.. and man, in all her glory too!
This issue and storyline look like it is going to be a huge one... epic in proportions. All the crew are here, the Dragon Witch, Boo Cat, and so forth.
The nudity in Tarot, it's been a little while since my last read but seems like it's in full force. Tarot's comics now are showing full frontal nudes of all the major characters. Oh well, gone are the clever little ways to hide a breast here and there. I don't know what to thing of it. Heck, I like looking but the thing it, it's like those old television shows that have a woman and male character that are attracted to each other for years... they hook up and the excitement is gone. You realize all the fun was in the chase (like Moonlighting, etc). I'll have to see if that was the case with the art in this comic.
