    TARDIS stands for "Time And Relative Dimensions In Space". It is the Doctor's Space Ship and Time Machine. The TARDIS has remained relatively unchanged in its appearance throughout the years, always taking the appearance of a British telephone police box.

    @the referee: Not as such. The Doctor's model of TARDIS has no offensive weapons to speak of, however the Time Lords did have 'Battle TARDISes' that were deployed during the Last Great Time War.

    There were Battle TARDIS's before and during the Last Great Time War that used Time Torpedoes which would freeze a target in time.    They created a halo effect when set off.
