On a journey with a troop of knights to destroy a dragon hidden in the snowy heights, Dragon Knight Raiad is wounded and taken into a mountain town to heal. But she wakes up to a nightmare: the whole village is affected by the Veill - the mysterious curse that emanates from the dragons and that Raiad has fought against and been trained to eradicate from a very young age. This fascinating episode of Tales of the Dragon Guard is well served by Sieurac subtle illustrating and Ange's inspired writing.
