Sydney Savage
Sydney Savage is a comic book character that first appeared in Danger Girl #0
Sydney Savage used to work for Australian Special Ops before she was recruited by Deuce to join his international team of female agents, Danger Girl. She has a reputation for being both fearless and reckless. It took her a little while to warm to the team's newest recruit, Abbey Chase, though they are good friends now.

Origin
Sydney Savage was recruited to Danger Girl by Deuce. Before joining she was an Australian Special-Ops agent with a reputation for her skill with a bullwhip and audacious risk taking. She was part of the mission that rescued Abbey Chase in Costa Rica. When Deuce offered Abbey a place on the team, Sydney was wary of working with someone with her shady past.
The Hammer
One of Deuce's informants had told him of a deal The Peach had set up. He was looking to buy an ancient shield for the Hammer and Danger Girl would find out why. While Abby went undercover as his waitress, Sydney observed from a nearby rooftop. The Peach and his henchmen shot the man and stole the shield. Abbey and Sydney pursued them, but although they managed to stop many of his henchmen, the Peach and the shield got away.
Deuce's informant, Duncan, gave word that the Peach was attending a party in Switzerland. Sydney introduced Abbey to Johnny Barracuda, a C.I.A. agent with whom she has a love-hate relationship. While he and Abbey posed as guests at the party, Sydney and Natalia Kassle infiltrated in advance as waitresses. When their operation was discovered, Sydney used her prowess with a whip to help cover Abbey's escape. When Sydney caught up with Abbey, she found her about to kiss Johnny, something she would tease her mercilessly for.
Abbey had identified the shield as being of Atlantean origin. Silicon Valerie compiled a list of similar artifacts. Danger Girl went to England and the seaside home of "Enchanted Eddie" a Dungeons and Dragons fan who had one of the pieces, a helmet, in his collection. When Eddie showed them the helmet, the Hammer, led by Major Maxim ambushed them. Natalia, Sydney and Johnny battled the Hammer operatives to cover Abbey's escape with Eddie, Valerie and the helmet.
Captured
While Abbey got away, Sydney and Johnny were captured by the Hammer and taken prisoner on Hammer Island. It was there that they learned of the feeble Fuhrer's scheme to use the Atlantean artifacts to turn himself into an unstoppable Aryan warrior and of their team mate, Natalia's betrayal.
While in their cell, Sydney convinced the guard she needed help unzipping her costume to use the bathroom as her hands were behind her back. As the guard unzipped her, staring at her chest, she karate kicked him. She took his keys and freed herself and Johnny.
The pair battle their way through Hammer Island until they meet Abbey. They join her and go outside to find the Fuhrer's transformation ritual in progress.
Sydney and Johnny battle the Hammer's henchmen as Abbey and Natalia take on the out of control Fuhrer. The island begins to flood as a result of Abbey's efforts to defeat the nazi leader, but just as hope looks lost for Sydney and Johnny they are rescued by Deuce and Valerie.
With the Hammer's schemes defeated, for now, Sydney joins the others in welcoming Abbey as a fully fledged Danger Girl!
The Black Seed
In the four-issue miniseries, Danger Girl: Back in Black Sydney makes her return, this time as a great friend and partner of Abbey Chase. She and Abbey are called into action by Deuce after a group of outlaws hijack a government convoy in South Dakota, the missing item is "The Black Seed", a mystical artifact that belonged to the Sioux over a century ago but was lost until now. Now the girls must go to South Dakota to infiltrate the gang by going undercover as bikers, so that they can thus recover the artifact.
Syd is obviously outraged but finds that all she can do now is turn back with Abbey and find her top somewhere in the sands of the desert, its not long till she finds it, but of course as luck would have it she has to fight off a snake to recover it. In time she does manage to return to Abbey, fully clothed only to find another biker named Ruby having stopped to ask the two if they were having any "bike troubles". Abbey tells Ruby that her friend was simply having a "wardrobe malfunction" and as if just on cue, Sydney walks up and asks Ruby if she knows of a place where she and Abbey could score a drink.
Ruby does indeed though she comments that it is most likely too rough for the girls' tastes, Syd is undaunted and the three arrive at the bar by nightfall where its not long before a chaotic bar fight erupts, men and tables flying everywhere. The girls make it out okay and learn the instigators of the bar fight were none other than a gang known as the "Roadkillers", Ruby explains to them a bit about the group and Sydney asks if they may be involved with any hijackings. Ruby does not answer the question directly and so Abbey explains to her the artifact that was stolen and its history, the Danger Girls awaiting her reaction. Ruby begins laughing hysterically but still decides that she will join the two girls on their mission, alongside her own gang of bikers, the "Black Widows".
